the cut was perfectly straight amazing quality
Arrived as scheduled. Just as described & pictured. Well protected. Very nice workmanship. Will replace the broken one i inherited & working to restore. Very happy with purchase & product & wouldn't hesitate to purchase again.
This was exactly what I was looking for. When handles for my Helko splitting maul were back ordered in to 2026. The hickory handle billet got me back splitting again.
There was alot of wood chipping near the bottom of the Kerf cut from the saw blade. Alos I believe it makes axe head fitment harder as the Kerf cut closes on a tight fit. If I ever order another handle I will do it without the Kerf cut and just do it on my own after I fit the axe head to my liking.
Great handles been using 32” grade 3 on my old splitter maul. I have been really beaten it on old knotty wood.
the handle is much nicer then the head it was hung on.
I have another old head that needs a new handle and it will definitely be a Hoffman again!!
Perfect shape and ready for action. Plus an extra one because the Hoffman crew is that cool.
It is exceptional 👏 👌
Looking forward to final fitting 😀
The handles are top shelf pieces. I’ve bought many from others and found these add the most value to your axe restoration. I recommend the grade 1 handles for perfection every time
Turned out awesome! My fire axe was damaged in a fire and I replaced the handle with yours.
This handle exceeded all my expectations. Brought my great grandfather's axe back to life. The curved handle feels really good in my hands and makes splitting firewood a dream.
Great handle at any
price, but incredible at its price piint
These are by far the best billets on the market. It's not even close!! There hand split so no runout like u get when split any other way. All the grain is 100% perfect!! These are top shelf!!
Perfection what a great handle you want a show off axe handle you got one 1st time I’ve swung an axe really hard as it doesn’t feel like it’s going to come out of your hand
This is a perfect handle for a ‘Boy’s axe”. It’s slightly shorter than the standard 28”, but makes a better overall tool for a 2 1/4 - 2 3/4 head. Snappier. The octagonal design seems superior from a grip standpoint, and there is plenty of wood on the butt to make a nice deers foot. Well done!
