I've hung a lot of axes on many different brand handles.This is my favorite so far.
Only 4 stars because I thought this handle had some what of a curve like the 28 inch straight, I reckon I just misunderstood the description.. I actually have no clue what I could use this for but hopefully I can come up with something.. Hoffman handles are phenomenal so don’t get it twisted now..lol. The handle itself is very nice!
Honestly can’t find the reason this got graded a 2!
Had to trim her down for an old roofing hatchet. Works great.
The handle is split at the pommel at an angle with the grain, as soon as I tap it to set the axe the first time it will split off.
That’s why it’s grade 3.
Next time I order a handle I’ll just order a better grade.
Little disappointing but it is what it is.

Beautiful handle.My favorite handle comply. Some of other handle I have purchase from other companys are to fat or to skinny. For me this one seems just right with enough extra meet at head for fitting.
