I've been looking for a a unique handle for my old felling axe. I looked all over the place trying to find the look and craftsmenship. I was watching some Buckin Billy Ray on YT and he said these are some of the best. I would have to agree. I blacksmith and wood work from time to time and the knowledge and craftsmenship should with these handles

One caveat... can this handle be shaped down to more readily fit a Sager Chemical Axe Head 1942?
I am having to cut these things down to make them work.

I’m giving the practice handles 5 stars as I need all the practice I can get 😊 if you have never have hung an axe head like me and you miss strike splitting wood like me it’s the best way to go… your going to swing harder and strike better knowing it’s just a practice handle 👍🏻👍🏻
This is a really nice handle, and worth the money. It is a little beefier and about 2” longer than WR 32NEC, but is exactly wha I was looking for. I returned the WR as their A grade had unacceptable runout. I just ordered two more Hoffman handles. Super pleased.
These handles are great. Melody Markland, Hoffmans customer support manager helped pick out some nice heartwood handles. I prefer the 31 Bullet over the 32inch straight as the curve is very pleasing and the diameter is slightly larger, giving it a heftier feel. I have procured several vintage heads from antique stores, Keen Kutter, Union. Kelly etc., and have cleaned them and hung on your new 31 and 32 inch handles. All six of my nephews are getting a really nice vintage axe for Christmas!
Incredible quality , I looked it over well and couldn't find one complaint, still on the fence with slimming it down a bit.
I bought 2 one nice one and one practice handle. I always seem to break a handle splitting wood every year and hate to say nice ones so cool looking and feels so good Im not sure if I can use it LOL guys and gals these cats make some really nice handles and get orders shipped asap I only gave them 5 stars but im really giving them 10

Made really really well. Doesn't fit my axe head. I'll find an old head and refurbish it now that I have a handle lol. Can you customize a handle for me? I have a custom-made Hatchet head from a smith in Hungary but have not been able to find the handle I want.
