Kiln Dried Hickory

These kiln dried 34” and 26" hickory lumber billets are a quality material choice for your next custom axe handle project. The 1.5 inch thick lumber makes a palm swell large enough for most axe handles, while the 3.5 inch wide billet is wide enough for extreme curvy handles.

These billets are the same material we use for our grade 2 handles. The grain orientation is angled, instead of parallel like our grade 1 Premium Hickory Handle Billets.

All billets are guaranteed against external knots and flaws that compromise a handle. Internal, unforeseen flaws cannot be guaranteed in this natural material.
