Excellent, strong handle that has become my go to for most axes. Have everything from 5.5 lb splitting axe heads to 2.25 lb half tassie on these handles. Great palm swell and can endure rough use.

I made a mistake when ordering and accidently ordered thebsmall wedge since I did not select from the drop down menu. Hoffman handles took it upon thenselves to inclide a large wedge with the small wedge I ordered because they knew the mistake. Excellent customer service.
Split at one end very deep. Hopefully I can avoid it during the carving process or else my handle will gave to be a 28” handle from a 34” billet.
Hi Jakob, Sorry to hear your billet has a check in it. Unfortunately checking in hickory is very common and can even occur during shipment with climate changes, especially 7/4 thick. Feel free to reach out to us - We'd be happy to replace it.
The Osage orange Handles are amazing. There’s only one bad thing I could say and that is they don’t carry enough of them. Keep up the good work!
The handle wasn’t delivered as I ordered it. I emailed the contact info email address and have yet to hear anything back, which was almost two weeks ago now. Not impressed.
The kerf is so nice for the customer! Super strait and works for every axe that I've hung! At least 30 or so!
Ordered a 28” but received a handle that measures 32” made the job a little more difficult but still a good handle.
Hi Chris, our handles are intentionally longer in the tongue and swell. Once you fit the axe and trim both ends you will have a full 28" long handle, whereas most handles start at the listed length and actually end up shorter. Hope this helps.
