Liked the oiling was thinking it would darken the wood a little but not necissary
I got this handle for a classic Sager Axe made by the Warren Axe and Tool Co of Warren, PA. I am so glad that I got the handle oiling. Just saved me so much work and it really brought out the color in the wood. For the price, it is a no brainer. You will never regret doing it to your handle.
Amazing quality I bought the grade 3 because I’m fresh to hanging but these are beautiful handles. Happy to see and purchase from such a talented local business!

Bought this shortie for an old bit rescued by an Ontario metal detectorist at the site of a bygone logging camp. Lot of grinding and polishing but soon we’ll see.

Beautiful handle. This is my first purchase and I should have called in. I am trying to place a new handle in a vintage axe head and did not realize that the handle would come uncut at the head for the wedge. I will have to figure a way to make that cut myself. Other than that, the handle is beautiful.
This is an excellent quality replacement handle. Perfect grain and good color after the boiled linseed oil bath. Brought my classic Sager Axe back to life again. Perfect complement to it.
